Can you tell if I still have a flab of fat in my stomach? tryin to get a six pack?

I noticed that on an empty stomach, my belly is pretty toned. I’m starting to see a shape. But on a full stomach, it wouldn’t be visible at all.
If you have a six pack, is it still completely visible even on a full stomach?

does my body burn fat first or muscles while sleeping. considering i went to sleep on an empty stomach?

i’m trying to gain muscle mass and i have run out of food/calories/protein for my bedtime meal. if this happens often should i really go out of my way to make sure i have something to digest so my body doesnt break up my muscles/gains? b/c my belly seems to have some fat to lose lol, so i dont mind if my body to use my fat while i sleep. any ideas, what goes first muscle or fat if i dont get enough calories during the day

Ur body will eat up muscle first, because it has more than enough to keep ur body going, so fill that tummy! :D

Cardio in the morning on an empty stomach? or anytime on a NOT empty stomach?

I’m just curious, which one will help me lose fat the fastest. I currently do cardio around 6pm, and i’m not really seeing any difference.
I was told to do cardio early in the morning on an empty stomach, to do it long, but slow.

Anyone else have any recommendations? My diet is good. I’m trying to gain some mass, im woring out hard, but would also like to lose some fat, as i have a bit of a belly.
8 miles? I wish I could run 12kms…

Anyone who calls it ‘cardio’ most likely isn’t going long enough or hard enough to have a significant effect on weight.

Calories is calories. Fat loss is a function of taking on less fuel than you need to power your day. The effects of when you eat are relatively minimal except if you eat large meals right before going to bed. Running or other exercise on an empty stomach is strictly a matter of comfort unless you’re going long enough to deplete glycogen stored in your muscles and liver. For morning runs 8 miles or less, I don’t bother to eat, and don’t need to.

Okay…so there’s this question that keeps bugging me…
1) Should i exercise on an empty stomach in the morning or should I not? Does exercising on an empty stomach burn more fat?

2) What kind of Exercises burn more belly fat in the morning?

I’m sorry…I’m just Kinda stuck and don’t know what to do So I’m looking forward to what you guys think…

Exercising before eating breakfast throws your body into further catabolism. Thus, your body burns fat and muscles at a higher rate.
If u exercise after eating breakfast and take about 20% of your RDA of protein, this prevents muscle breakdown.
It’s better not to exercise on an empty stomach.

To burn more belly fat you’d need to do cardio exercises which really work u out. These are called High intensity interval training (HIIT). Google it and u’ll find many articles about it. I personally suggest doing High intensity interval body circuit training such as turbulence training.

“Super Fat Burning System” Supplement from Dollar General?

I’m 5’5″ & about 125lbs. This may be considered a healthy weight, but the weight is mostly in my belly & sides (love handles). I bought a bottle of fat burning pills from dollar general called “super fat burning system”. The directions are to take 2 tablets before a meal with a glass of water on an empty stomach. It doesn’t specify if you do this before every meal or once a day. Has anyone taken these specific supplements & does it actually work? I know they’re generic & cheap but i thought i would atleast give it a shot.

I advise you instead to take an”exercise” pill. It’s even free.

Why do I have a big belly?

I have a big belly since I was a kid, and my mother says it will go away when i grow up, which it didn’t… I don’t think I’m fat, in fact I’m a type that doesn’t grow fat.. I’m 170cm but I only weights 52kg, which is underweight for most standards, the only problem is that because I’m skinny and I have a big belly, it looks really obvious and ugly, I tried doing some sit ups everyday but it just doesn’t go away… sometimes when I have an empty stomach and I’m very hungry, my belly vanishes, it only comes out (big) when I eat something.. I know its natural that when you eat something your stomach become bigger, but for my case my stomach become as huge as a ball which looks very strange and ugly from side view.. any opinion?
and I don’t drink beer :)

You probably don’t have fat anywhere else on your body, which makes your stomach look big.

You should get some vigourous exercise to even things out by putting mass elsewhere on your body, and lower your BMI – which is the only way you’ll get abs.

Weird Stomach Pains help please?

I have like stomach pains that feel like im bloated but my stomach feels empty at the same time .I get it before and after i eat pretty much all the time, I have had this for about 5 days. I am not pregnant because I have never had sex or my period. I am pretty sure I am going through puberty because my hips are wider etc :P
Does anyone know what this can bee ?
Also when going through puberty or after is it normal for girls to haave a little bump under their belly button? I have like a squishy part of fat kinda under my belly button is that normal?

That bump certainly isnt normal. Youve never had your period? Well then sounds like its coming. Periods make you feel bloated and its a weird pain like your full but empty. Im a 16 year old girl ;) I most certainly do not have a bump though, maybe your fine, but still you should ask a doctor. Although the eating bit confusses me….if thats the only time your have the aches then I dont think its your period….hmm see a doctor because it could be anything. Puberty is a very weird thing though. Anyway good luck :)

Is it loose skin or fat?

I just lost 60lbs. I’m 5’7, 145lbs and jacked. I have this belly issue though. I have a 6 pack but i can stretch my lower stomach like 4 inches. It just feels empty and it goes away when i stand up. Is this loose skin or fat. What can I do about it?

You have to be able to bend… Imagine if your skin was so tight you couldn’t move.
